Study with Timothy Training Institute

Timothy Training Institute is recognised throughout the world for our approach in equipping church leaders for full-time ministry. We offer a 3-year course, which is Biblically-based, Christ-centred, Spirit-Led, Practical and highly suitable for the African context. The course is presented in such a way that it is "easy-to-understand" and "easy-to-learn".

Although the course is not accredited in South Africa, it does adhere to the highest of International standards, as set forth by The Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) and Christian Quality Assurance (CQA), of which Timothy Training Institute is a member. Timothy Training institute is also a member of The Association of Christian Theological Schools (ACTS).

Studies cover a period of three years during which students either attend 30 week long seminars, spread over six phases, consisting of five seminars each (one seminar per month).

Each seminar, in turn, consists of five lectures with a duration of 2,5 hours. TTI-appointed Tutors conduct these lectures at the hand of precomposed study guides.

The periods between seminars are utilised for practical application of their new-found knowledge.

DIY-students study at their own pace and can therefore complete the course in less than three years.

Seminar 4: The Message of the Old Testament
Seminar 5: Meet the Master (A study of Jesus in the Gospels)

Phase B - The Kingdom of God
(5 months training with an examination in month 6)

Seminar 2: The Law of the Kingdom
Seminar 3: Spiritual Maturity
Seminar 4: The Witnessing Task of the Church
Seminar 5: The Kingdom and Our Cultures

Phase C - Christian Leadership
(5 months training with an examination in month 6)

Seminar 3: Church Management
Seminar 4: Church Administration & Finances
Seminar 5: Family Management

Phase D - Preaching & Teaching
(5 months training with a sermon evaluation and examination in month 6)

(5 months training with an examination in month 6)
